A brightening topical vitamin C supplement for skin that glows with health.
Vitamin C has powerful potency. It stimulates collagen production, evens pigmentation and acts as an antioxidant to neutralise damaging unstable molecules. TOPICAL-C uses powdered l-ascorbic acid (the purest form of vitamin C) and doesn’t activate until you mix it with moisturiser, keeping its potency. Boosted by ferulic acid (a restorative antioxidant found in the cell walls of plants) and a calming trio of tapioca starch, oatmeal, and aloe vera.
- All skin types: from sensitive to breakout-prone, oily to dry
- All age groups
- All genders
Mix with moisturiser or water and apply to your face and neck in the AM.

Experts agree that vitamin C is one of the best ingredients to use in your skincare routine. But it’s also very volatile (unstable when exposed to air or water), which means it can lose its skin-improving benefits before it’s even made it to your face. Unlike traditional vitamin C serums, creams, and oils (which can degrade quickly), our powdered TOPICAL-C doesn’t activate until you mix it with your chosen cream or serum. Keeping its powerful potency.
Our skin is exposed to daily aggressors that accelerate the ageing process, with 80% of visible ageing caused by UV rays alone (which is why wearing an SPF is so important). The sun’s ultraviolet rays trigger the release of cell-DNA-damaging free radicals, which rapidly degrade the collagen and elastin fibres that act as scaffolding for firm skin. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, meaning it neutralises these unstable molecules.
Fine lines and wrinkles occur when the skin’s connective tissue (collagen and elastin fibers) are broken down, and the subsequent loss of volume causes the skin to contract and wrinkle. The hero ingredient in TOPICAL-C is boosted by a second antioxidant: ferulic acid, which increases its stability and doubles the natural photoprotection of the skin. Protecting your collagen reserves and boosting new collagen production is an essential step in your skincare routine to achieve plump, youthful-looking skin.

Vitamin C occurs in both the skin’s epidermis and dermis, and is essential for the production of collagen - a structural protein that declines as we age.
Topical application of vitamin C over 12 weeks has been proven to smooth fine lines and skin texture, reduce protein fibre damage and increase collagen synthesis.
FAQs
Unlike most ingredients, research has shown that as little as 0.6% of vitamin C can help protect your skin from free radicals and early signs of ageing. However, the optimum amount of vitamin c for synthesis and absorption falls at around 10%. Our formula also includes ferulic acid which works alongside vitamin C for better results.
Some people see brighter and smoother skin within days of using TOPICAL-C. However, we recommend using it for at least 3 months before assessing results. In clinical trials, a vitamin C at 10% (the same as TOPICAL-C) was found to increase collagen production, decrease fine lines and reduce pigmentation. So, stick with it - the results are worth it.
Since this is a dry formula, the vitamin C doesn’t activate until it’s mixed with your serum, moisturiser, or water in the palm of your hand. As an added layer of protection, the blend is housed in our signature amber glass which helps to protect the ingredients from light and heat.
The opposite, vitamin C has been proven to protect the skin from UV rays and its photo-protection properties actually double when used alongside ferulic acid. However, we would not recommend using this product in place of an SPF – think of it as an SPF booster.
Our formula is water-soluble, so it can be mixed with any formula that contains water or “aqua” as a primary ingredient which is the vast majority of serums and moisturisers. It can also be mixed with a small amount of plain water for ease.
If you're using glycolic or salicylic acid and retinol, you will need to leave some time in between before applying your vitamin C product to avoid any stinging or redness. Otherwise, you’re good to go.
